Summary

This position is responsible for the evaluation, repair and calibration of a wide variety of finished Photo Research Instruments, subassemblies and accessories, ensuring to meet the service turnaround times.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate evaluation with comprehensive fault analysis reports following PRI's Service Process standards.
• Disassemble, repair, and replace defective parts of instruments using hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Assemble, align, and calibrate Photo Research instruments, subassemblies, and accessories according to drawings, design specifications, and documentation.
• Maintain and communicate accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Foster a high-performing team environment through daily communication with supervisors and colleagues in all manufacturing areas.
• Comply with all company policies and programs, including those regarding ethics, conduct, safety, security, ISO, and continuous improvement.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ related experience required, 3+ years preferred.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn the use of new software required.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, to include assembly instruction required.
• Ability to communicate verbally with supervisor and team required.
• Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment required.

Compensation and Benefits

• The base pay for this position ranges from $19.00-$26.00 per hour depending on the geographic region.
• Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
