We are looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join our Workforce Planning team and help us optimize our store workforce to drive successful performance. As our Finance Analyst - Workforce Planning, you will play a critical role in analyzing and forecasting workforce needs to ensure well supported staffing levels across our EssilorLuxottica retail network. You will collaborate with various departments to develop data-driven strategies that enhance efficiency and support our store labour using data analysis, forcasting techniques & strategic planning to ensure our stores are well equiped to meet our customer needs and drive customer satisfaction whilst maximising our operational efficiency.

Requirements for Success:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data on store labor metrics, including sales trends, foot traffic, and historical staffing patterns.

  • Create accurate labor forecasts based on business needs.

  • Partner with field teams to develop staffing plans that align with sales forecasts and business goals.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize labor allocation, scheduling practices, and staffing levels to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate the impact of labor decisions on store profitability.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to labor costs, productivity, and revenue to pinpoint areas for improvement and cost savings.

  • Contribute to the development of long-term workforce planning strategies to support business growth and expansion initiatives.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data-driven analysis and industry best practices.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in workforce management and labor analytics.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and tools for optimizing workforce planning efforts

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in workforce planning, labor analytics, or a similar area.

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.

  • Proven ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights from data analysis.

  • Knowledge of retail remuneration structures is highly valued.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; familiarity with other statistical analysis software is highly desirable.
