Business Operations Manager

What does a successful Business Operations manager do at Fiserv?

The Manager of Business Operations will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business across Australia and New Zealand for merchant and financial institution segments as well as working with key partners locally and in-region to consult and assist with on delivering key strategic initiatives. The individual will be responsible for leading a team of individuals that are responsible for support functions that include: change and project management, vendor management, process management, BCP/audit oversight and data management.

The role provides an enormous opportunity for the incumbent to build out and maintain frameworks that are critical to sustain and build out a scalable model in Service Delivery that include: process and file/document management, third-party and customer governance, data quality and review, and third party relationship performance.

  • Product and System Optimisation/Updates

  • Data Quality Management

What you will need to have:

  • 3 years’ experience in leading teams that support Business Management, Product Management, Service Delivery functions

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing frameworks and methodologies within team and across the broader business; including change management, process management, testing/pilot methodologies, client governance and audit.

  • Familiar with continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience with the use of digitization and automation to delivery process improvements.

  • Excellent data analytics and data quality management skills with some system integration knowledge.

  • Strong knowledge of project and change management methodologies.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.

  • People leadership experience essential, advanced verbal and written communication skills.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in payments industry / merchant acquiring / banking & finance

  • Project management, change management or continuous improvement certification.

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree accreditation

  • Proven experience working with Sales, Operations, Product and Technology teams.
