This position is eligible for a $6,000 retention bonus ($2,500 paid after 6 months of service with the remainder paid after 12 months of service) Salary Range Clinical Trainee $58,256.71 - $70,521.28 Fully Licensed $66,752.48 - $80,805.63 The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid. Position Summary This position provides clinical services to those children ages 5 to 14 and their families at the Webster Education Center, a Federal setting 4 school in ISD 622. This position provides individual, group, and family therapy in the school, Canvas Health office, home, and in the community. This position also provides the school with clinical consultation and debriefing after crisis situations for staff and students. This position emphasizes a high level of skill and knowledge about families, individuals and family assessment, family skills, and education services in the school. It also provides consultation/teaming with school psychologists, school social workers, teachers, and multiple mental health providers. This position provides case consultation, training on mental health issues and assistance to school personnel for clients at the Webster Education Center. Location Webster Education Center, North St. Paul Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in social work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling Possess or currently pursuing an LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC licensure. Extensive knowledge and experience in working with severe emotional disorders in children and adults, family systems theory, individual and family development and community resources and school systems. Preferred Qualifications Considerable ability to plan and implement treatment strategies for children with SED. Experience with students and families of color, understanding of the impact of race and poverty upon students and families.
