Actalent Architect in North Reading, Massachusetts

Job Title: ArchitectJob Description

We are looking for a skilled Architect to join our team and work on projects that include fast food restaurants, strip malls, and multifamily buildings. This role involves creating designs from scratch, as well as remodeling existing structures, utilizing AutoCAD. The position is highly production-driven and requires interaction with site personnel and construction teams. You will also be responsible for signing off on design documents.

Responsibilities

  • Create designs for fast food restaurants, strip malls, and multifamily buildings from scratch.

  • Remodel existing structures using AutoCAD.

  • Drive production-focused architectural projects.

  • Interact with site personnel and construction teams.

  • Sign off on design documents.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • 3 – 12 years of experience in architectural design.

  • Experience in retail design.

  • Strong client interaction skills.

  • Ability to go onsite and interact with clients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Registered Architect or close to completing registration with some exams completed.

  • Experience with restaurant and retail design is preferred.

  • Experience with multifamily design is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is onsite 5 days a week in the North Reading, MA location. You will visit different sites to meet with clients and work directly with another Architect and the Architectural Director.
