Charter Care Health Partners Clinical Manager, Rehab in North Providence, Rhode Island

Summary: This is a dual position will equal responsibilities. Clinical Manager maintains accountability for the delivery of quality, cost-effective Therapy services at Southern New England Rehabilitation Center in compliance with all regulatory and licensing standard. Responsible for establishing standards for delivery of services, scope and evaluation of standards. Recommends purchase of capital equipment. Periodically, inspects/tours all facilities areas under where staff perform functions, for continuing adherence to established requirements. The Clinical Manager develops, implements and evaluates a management plan which ensures the delivery of high quality, cost-effective services. PPS is responsible for Medicare process and reimbursement on SNERC.

Education: Bachelor or Master Degree in OT/PT or Speech Language Pathology

Licensure: Professional license – Rhode Island.

Experience: 5 years of clinical experience with at least 3 in a supervisory capacity

  • Working knowledge/competence with national standards (i.e., JCAHO, State Health Regulations, OSHA, EPA, Safety Codes, Hazardous Materials and Emergency Preparedness and Licensing Regulations)

  • Management skills in planning, organizing, and directing activities of others.

  • Leadership skills in motivating individuals and developing group cohesiveness.

  • Skills in coaching, teaching, mentoring and problem solving.

  • Working knowledge of preparation and effective management of salary and non-salary budgets.

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare, conduct and document in-service education program.

  • Ability to utilize sound interpersonal skills when interacting with all levels of internal and external customer taking into consideration cultural, linguistic and age of customer.

  • Maintains information confidential (HIPAA)

  • Demonstrated customer service skills

  • Ability to responsive customer service skills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills and age of customers

  • Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers and other interdisciplinary teams

  • Understanding of Medicare Reimbursement under the IRF PAI process and regulations

  • FIM certified

  • Familiarity with Impairment Groups and impact on Length of Stay

    Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements :

    Visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching and reaching. Physical ability involves pushing, pulling and lifting more than 30 lbs.
