Position Specific Description

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Integration:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and integrating data from various sources.

• Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and contribute to data collection processes.

• Participate in developing and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Support the integration of various data sources into our data warehouse or data lake.

Database Management & Governance:

• Support in designing, implementing, and maintaining databases.Help optimize database performance and storage.

• Assist in ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle with Enterprise security protocols.

• Participate in data quality and data governance initiatives to maintain high data standards.

• Contribute to the development of data models, schemas, and technical documentation.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Assist in generating data reports and visualizations.

• Support business intelligence activities using various tools and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

• Understanding of programming languages such as Python.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, or Plotly) is a plus.

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is desirable.

• Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., AWS Glue).

Job Overview

To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists department with assigned projects

• Completes challenging projects and assignments

• Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship

• Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school grad / GED

• Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program

• Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
