Aerotek Welder in North Mankato, Minnesota

Job Title: Welder - Arc and Gas Welding Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Perform arc and gas welding on various metals and their alloys.

  • Work on commercial and military fabrications involving critical safety and load requirements.

  • Plan, layout, and execute diversified fabrication work.

  • Determine proper machine settings, gas, and filler selections for specific base metal and process applications.

  • Operate ring roller and associated equipment as required.

  • Work from specifications, drawings, prints, and welding symbols.

  • Perform other duties as designated by the supervisor in the same salary grade or below.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year of prior welding experience.

  • Technical degree in welding.

  • Vocational or high school education or equivalent.

  • On-the-job training to learn trade techniques and procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $24.42
