Aerotek Millwright Mechanic in North Las Vegas, Nevada
Job Title: Millwright
Job Description
Currently seeking millwrights for an expansion project at the UPS facility. Millwrights will be responsible for installing conveyor systems in a new construction environment. This type of work consists of reading blueprints, laying out material, and utilizing power tools to install/put together conveyors. There will be some welding involved, so experience with MIG welding is a huge plus. Some scope of work will include using an Aerial Lift to install some racking and other materials. Candidates should be prepared to work 6 to 7 days a week and work 10+ hour days for this project. This will be a 2-year project.
Hard Skills
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Conveyor and/or Sortation installations
Can install conveyor accurately from the prints
Ability to teach local new hires
Mechanically inclined
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 ft
Own basic hand tools and steel toed safety shoes
Ability to stand or walk on concrete or steel grating for an entire shift
Ability to operate power tools correctly
Detail Oriented
Adheres to all safety standards and ensures a safe work area
Performs housekeeping and general clean-up duties
Able to work 58+ hour work weeks
Reliable transportation

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
Work Environment
New construction job site. Shift: 6:00am to Finish (Monday - Saturday). May work some Sundays.
