Position Summary

Performs inspections, maintenance, repairs and coordination of the fleet within the assigned locations and ensures compliance with DOT guidelines by maintaining required records for inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, operates and maintains all diesel trucks, forklifts, and moving equipment. Assists drivers with vehicle issues.

  • Performs DOT required inspections.

  • Maintains accurate records of all inspections and maintenance of equipment.

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated mechanic experience. Other desired qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Preferred Experience: Between 1 and 2 years

  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification - Required

  • Commercial Driver's License - Preferred

  • Familiar with Diesel Engines, Brake System, Hydraulics, etc.
