Position Summary
Performs inspections, maintenance, repairs and coordination of the fleet within the assigned locations and ensures compliance with DOT guidelines by maintaining required records for inspections.
Responsibilities
Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, operates and maintains all diesel trucks, forklifts, and moving equipment. Assists drivers with vehicle issues.
Performs DOT required inspections.
Maintains accurate records of all inspections and maintenance of equipment.
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated mechanic experience. Other desired qualifications include but are not limited to:
Preferred Experience: Between 1 and 2 years
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification - Required
Commercial Driver's License - Preferred
Familiar with Diesel Engines, Brake System, Hydraulics, etc.
