Job Core Responsibilities

The Traffic Billing Clerk supports Shipping and Receiving Team with coordinating activities and creating shipping documentation to external customers or other facilities. Confirms delivery completion in the business system, coordinates outbound freight for carriers, and audits all export shipments, while following policies, procedures and safety regulations.

· Performs status updates in Customer ERP system portal regarding shipment schedule status, entry of advanced shipping note information (ASN), and communicates resolves portal and shipment issues with Planning, Contracts and Customer.

· Updates Daily Shipment/Revenue information for all product lines to manage Coordinates with Final Inspection and bond room to ensure, packaging and shipping is executed in support of On-Time Delivery objective

· Performs data entry activities from internal ERP system source documents to ensure all data entry is accurate and done on a timely basis. Generates various departmental reports

· Completes all required documentation for the transportation of goods including, but not limited to, Shipping Requisition, Packing Slip, Commercial Invoices, AES, Print Carrier Labels (UPS, FED-EX, DHL), Shipment confirmation in ERP system.

Gathers and maintains all data records related to shipping activities. Researches and resolves shipping discrepancies.

Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Aerospace experience preferred

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

· Must have excellent data entry skills able to multi-task searching for quotes.

· Quick learner work and produce without direct supervision. 1st shift 7am-4:00pm.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Manufacturing / Non-Sedentary Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: Hourly Min: $19.76/hr. Max:$32.93/hr.
