La Bella Vida Adult Day Health Services Community Outreach Coordinaator in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts

La Bella Vida Adult Day Health is an innovative and dynamic Adult Day Health program that has been providing services to Hispanic elders in the Southeastern Massachusetts community for over ten (10) years. We are seeking an energetic, proactive and motivated person to fulfill the duties of the agency\'s Community Outreach Coordinator. The qualified candidate must be familiar with the Hispanic Community in the Greater New Bedford, MA area. Familiarity with the Hispanic Community in the greater Fall River, MA area is a plus. The ideal candidate must be comfortable accessing the local area as well as interacting with a diverse cross-section of individuals in the Hispanic Community. The optimal candidate will represent the agency as the public face of La Bella Vida Adult Day Health. Candidates who are driven and motivated to succeed are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants are required to possess the following qualifications at a minimum: ? Must be bilingual Spanish/English ? Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written) ? Superior Time Management skills ? Administrative/Computer skills a plus ? Ability to multitask ? Must have a high school diploma or GED ? Must have a Valid Driver?s License and their own vehicle and be able to work flexible daytime hours Monday through Friday ? Primary duties include but are not limited to: o Working with a variety of individuals to promote the mission of La Bella Vida as a resource for individuals in need of Adult Day Health services o Being active in the Greater New Bedford and Fall River communities as a resource for elders and their families o Representing La Bella Vida and advocating for the agency in the local Hispanic community o Developing relationships with healthcare providers, social services providers and human services agencies connected to the Hispanic Community in the local area o Public Relations and Community Outreach o Ongoing communication with Participants and their families o Planning and scheduling events to communicate and share information about the Program with the local Hispanic community o Working with the nursing and social services staff to support participants and others eligible for Adult Day Health services
