Job Description

Associate Director, Global Program Management

The Associate Director, Global Program Management is responsible for managing assigned programs in support of the Procurement organization. This role does not have direct reports but will have responsibility for managing large scale multi-disciplinary projects and programs across the organization. The Associate Director, Program Management works with the Procurement Leadership Team to develop project specifications, objectives, strategies, timelines and milestones and lead the development of project plans.

Responsibilities

•Strategize and instill cutting-edge change management practices and continuous improvement approaches across procurement functions.

•Develop and institutionalize a culture and norms that foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the procurement organization.

•Identify and implement value-creating strategies that drive significant improvements in procurement operations and outcomes.

•Facilitate the integration and adoption of change management methodologies and continuous improvement practices across procurement teams.

•Ensure new cultural norms are embraced and fully operationalized to support strategic initiatives and business goals.

•Maintain and enhance change management and continuous improvement capabilities through effective process governance and performance reporting.

•Champion the ongoing evolution of the procurement culture, reinforcing the importance of innovation and adaptability in achieving excellence.

•Lead the procurement community in adopting and upholding the established change management and continuous improvement frameworks.

•Mentor and develop their team, nurturing a forward-thinking mindset and capabilities that align with the evolving needs of the organization.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's Degree required.

•Master’s or advanced degree is preferred.

•Professional certification a plus.

•10+ years of experience is required. At least 5 combined years of experience, encompassing two (2) or more of the following areas: communications, public affairs negotiation, project management, financial analysis, contract administration, sales. International and manufacturing experience preferred.

•Must be knowledgeable of the Procurement function in order to drive programs and optimize Procurement processes

•This role must have the leadership required to effective manage within a matrix, effectively manage stakeholders and engage a cross functional team in order to deliver objectives on assigned initiatives within the project portfolio.
