Aston Carter Production Planner in North Charleston, South Carolina

Description:

• Create material master data, BOM & Routings in SAP.

• Assist as needed in the release production orders in SAP.

• Execute accurate SAP transactions and perform scheduled audits on a routine basis.

• Prepare the Master Production Schedule for individual projects as assigned by the Production Planning Manager.

• Initiate and update production schedules to meet changing demand and inventory requirements.

• Analyze inventory levels and requirements regularly and update schedules accordingly.

• Monitor production capacity constraints and alert necessary team members to issues.

• Coordinate customer ship dates with Project Managers and Management as required.

• Assure job packets are accurately produced for production team use.

• In conjunction with Department Head, trains Planners on processes, procedures, software, etc.

• Collaborate directly with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering to continuously improve scheduling and planning processes.

• Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings.

• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality.

• Complies with environmental, safety policies and regulations and ensures high quality standards at all times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Experience over degree however, would be a plus

-Must have 3+ years of Planning/Manufacturing experience

-Must have experience with SAP - planning modules

-Excel experience: v look ups, sums ifs, data manipulation

-Forecasting experience (reviews materials, scheduling, following up with production)

-Highly organized

-Working with multiple managers externally/internally
