Acentra Health seeks a Clinical Team Lead to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The CAP Clinical Team Lead (RN) assists in overseeing the clinical team and functions, manages and completes assigned work plan projects to comply with performance standards. The CAP RN Lead coordinates with the CAP/C and CAP/DA Program Managers and Clinical Director on decisions and issues and communicates with providers regarding determinations and other clinical matters. The CAP Lead, RN also develops and leads clinical staff in activities to facilitate and support clinical, quality, and cost-effective outcomes. May require occasional travel within North Carolina.

Job Responsibilities:

  • With the CAP Program Manager's direction, coordinate and monitor all clinical team activities.

  • Leads team members in improving skills, creativity, and problem-solving.

  • Serve as the primary contact for CAP IAs, SRF Team, and MDT Review Team

  • Serve as primary contact and CAP orientation coordinator for new CAP hires (RNs).

  • Conduct ongoing training and education for staff to ensure competency in CAP Programs requirements, documentation standards, and nursing protocols related to SRFs, Assessments, MDT Reviews, & Due Process.

  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to the CAP Programs, providing guidance and support to staff and stakeholders.

  • Oversee and participate in completion of SRFs and MDT Reviews

  • With the CAP Program Manager's direction, oversee clinical staff productivity and performance to ensure alignment with performance standards outlined NCLIFTS (CIAE) contract.

  • Oversee completion of Monthly assessment quality checks.

  • Serve as a member of CAP’s Due Process Team by providing RN support and carrying out work deliverables outlined in the NCLIFTSS (CIAE) contract.

  • Manages and completes assigned work plan and projects on a timely basis.

  • Complete Monthly Reports assigned by CAP Programs Managers.

  • Collaborate with Program Managers in the development of new and enhanced processes, policies, procedures, or systems.

  • Represents the clinical department by participating in committees, task forces, work groups, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Maintains professional relationships with provider community and external customers and identifies opportunities for improvement.

The list of accountabilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties that management may deem necessary from time to time.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Registered Nurse or LCSW license by the state of North Carolina

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervisory capacity, leading programs, or projects, preferably in Medicaid, healthcare, and Long-Term Services and Supports.

  • Strong understanding of Medicaid policies, regulations, and reimbursement mechanisms, particularly related to long term services and support for children with disabilities.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build collaborative relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, quality improvement, and program evaluation.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of NC healthcare system, Medicaid programs, and community resources.

Compensation

The compensation for this position is $78,000.

“Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.”
