  • PAY: $41-50 an hour depending on experience

  • SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On-site, minimal travel to clients

Description:

Responsible for delivering the execution of client projects. The Manager will actively participate in driving projects forward through the stages of the project management cycle. The Manager will make sure the Project Managers complete their daily and weekly processes. The Manager will seek ways to efficiently manage administrative duties, identify areas of training to improve performance, and provide the management team with project analysis.

• Understand the client goals for each project as well as the financial goals of the company.

• Ensure the team is managing projects

• Work with PMs to monitor project progress and assist with corrective action where needed, including estimated hours, materials, and total costs.

• Work with directly and with PMs to develop client relationships

• Work with internal departments to ensure drawings, materials, programing, and production are aligned to meet ship dates.

• Work with client representatives to develop corrective actions when necessary, including client business or site contacts.

• Work with PM’s, Estimating, Engineering and Production to develop value-engineering opportunities with the client

• Develop process improvements

• Assist in estimating projects for proposal submissions.

• Assist in the suggestion to clients and the use by PMs of existing inventory.

• Work with subcontract resources – visiting locations, expanding options, and conducting quality checks as necessary.

Minimal travel to customer sites in and out of Ohio

MUST HAVES:

3-5 plus years of experience in client facing project management within the store fixtures, millwork, casework, or building construction industry.

Minimum of 3 years of management experience, previous leadership role

Ability to read architectural drawings for understanding of interior finishes and millwork needs.

Microsoft skills, including intermediate level analysis in Excel.

NICE TO HAVES:

Global Shop ERP system experience

Bachelor's or Associates degree
