Robert Half Bookkeeper in North Canton, Ohio

Description

We are offering a contract to permanent position as a Bookkeeper in NORTH CANTON, Ohio. The selected candidate will be expected to manage financial records and transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately manage and process accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and data entry

• Manage payroll duties, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time

• Prepare tax returns for both individuals and businesses

• Regularly perform bookkeeping tasks, such as bank reconciliations and month end close

• Use QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience with accounts payable (AP)

• Experience with accounts receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations

• Strong bookkeeping skills

• Proficiency in data entry tasks

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

• Experience with month end close tasks

• Ability to handle payroll tasks

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
