Job Title: Shipping Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the packing and shipping of instruments, accessories, and documentation. This role involves coordinating with Shipping Administrators, building shipping crates, and ensuring adherence to ISO standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinate packing and shipping schedule with Shipping Administrators
Pack instruments, accessories, and documentation for shipping
Pull and pack items from Pick Tickets for shipping
Build shipping crates to ensure proper protection for instruments
Monitor the level of packing materials and notify the Supply Chain on low inventory levels
Perform responsibilities in adherence to ISO standards
Participate in projects as assigned
Essential Skills
Experience packing large instruments
Ability to lift 40 pounds of packed instruments and parts with proper technique, assistance, and equipment
Basic computer skills
Proficient in English for following written and oral instructions
Self-starter capable of performing multiple tasks successfully
Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Proven ability to work well in a team environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of inventory management
Experience with shipping and receiving processes
Data entry and material handling skills

Work Environment
This role is within a small medical laboratory supplier. The work environment requires handling and packing large instruments with assistance and equipment. It involves standard working hours with a focus on maintaining ISO standards. Basic computer skills and proficiency in English are necessary to follow instructions and perform data entry tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Brunswick, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
