Long Island- Cost Accountant
Major responsibilities:
Support monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Calculate labor costs
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmark

Requirements
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel (pivots, vlookups, xlookups)
-Experience with Job Costing
General ledger experience
Knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Proficiency in bank reconciliations
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
must be willing to work ON-SITE On Long Island
BA/BS in Accounting
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects
Strong organization skills
ERP system experience
