JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media/Digital Manager with advanced proficiency in both English and Chinese. The ideal candidate will possess a creative flair, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to craft compelling content across various digital platforms. This role is integral in driving our brand presence, engagement, and growth across both Western and Chinese social media channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation & Development:

  • Craft, develop, and publish engaging content tailored to our audience on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat, RedBook, Douyin, and other relevant platforms.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-quality multimedia content, including visuals, videos, and copy.

Social Media Strategy & Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to achieve growth and engagement goals on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat, RedBook, and Douyin.

  • Regularly monitor and analyze performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and reach.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of social media campaigns to ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives.

Chinese Social Media Platforms:

  • Establish, plan, and execute strategic initiatives on Chinese platforms, including WeChat, RedBook, and Douyin, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and local market trends.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Chinese social media, continuously improving our presence and effectiveness.

Social Media Advertising & Analytics:

  • Develop and manage social media ad campaigns across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat, and Douyin, ensuring they align with commercial goals.

  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Influencer & KOL Engagement:

  • Identify, engage, and collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

  • Coordinate influencer visits and manage deliverables, ensuring a seamless experience that aligns with brand values and objectives.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Language Skills:

  • Advanced command of both English and Chinese (Mandarin), with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Creative Skills:

  • Strong creative mind with the ability to develop innovative content and campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.

  • Experience in visual storytelling, graphic design, or video production is a plus.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms, including content creation, strategy development, and execution.

  • In-depth knowledge of Chinese social media platforms, trends, and audience behaviors.

  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented, with a passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of digital trends.

  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience working in a multicultural environment or with international brands.
