Job Overview:
As a Server at our restaurant, you will be responsible for providing good customer service for all guests visiting our establishment. Your exceptional customer service expertise, and friendly demeanor will contribute to a positive and enjoyable experience for our patrons. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Thorough menu knowledge to answer customer questions and make recommendations
- Accurately records customer orders and notes any dietary restrictions
- Communicates with kitchen staff to ensure orders are made in timely manner
- Addresses and resolves customer concerns as able
- Provides customer feedback to management
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Dining Room Standards:
- Safely navigates busy dining rooms to avoid accidents
- Assists with tidying tables, and disposing of leftover food
- Sets and rearranges tables to accomodate larger groups or special events
Upselling and Promotion:
- Promote special drink offerings, happy hour deals, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
Encourage guests to explore other attractions and amenities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant, bar, or entertainment setting preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the family entertainment center.
