Nucor District Sales Manager in Norristown, Pennsylvania
*About Us:*
Vulcraft of New York, Inc. is seeking a Teammate to lead the sales offices located in Norristown PA and Piscataway NJ. The District Sales Manager is responsible for the Philadelphia and New York City Metro sales territory. Qualified applicants should be prepared to lead a large sales team in a strong market, build a commercially excellent team and be an energetic member of Vulcraft-New York's sales team.
*Basic Job Functions:*
- Taking Care of our Customers and maximize long-term profitability by building and sustaining strong, engaged relationships.
- Coach and develop direct-report team members through building relationships, training, and individual coaching.
- Develop an effective territory marketing, volume, and pricing strategy for the territory.
- Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers.
- Be willing and able to travel.
- Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week when required.
- Relocate to either Norristown PA or Piscataway NJ.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
*Minimum Qualifications:*
- 1 year of experience in the joist and deck and/or steel construction industry.
- Experience in reading architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, along with a general understanding of the construction process.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Previous supervisory experience
