Johnson Controls Manufacturing Engineer - Fabrication in Norman, Oklahoma

What You Will Do:
Design and optimize manufacturing processes and production layout for sheet metal and /or copper tube fabrication to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Contribute to the buildup of new production cells and generate technical documentation for production processes.
Maintain and improve existing manufacturing methods to support Johnson Controls' capacity expansion plans.
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Work directly with Industrial Engineering Team to calculate and control optimal capacities of production lines and fabrication processes.
Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including D esign, P roduction, CI, and Q uality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of fabrication processes.
Drive process-related activities for New Product Introductions.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to sheet metal and copper fabrication.
What We Look For:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering .
1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically in metal fabrication processes.
Experience with CNC machines, laser cutting, and bending processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
