Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Project Management Analyst to join the Global Security team supporting the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) contract. This position is located at our Norfolk, VA location and hybrid is a possibility. Relocation assistance may be available.
This is contingent upon contract award.
What You Will Do
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.
What You Must Have
15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience.
Client Requirements: Master’s degree in business or related field and 15 or more years of experience in DoD/Navy programs and/or policies.
Proven ability to develop, analyze, evaluate, advise and/or improve the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, delegations of authority, management controls, information and documentation systems, and similar functions of management.
Demonstrated capability to formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
Provide consultation on complex tasks.
Experience leading and directing the work of others.
Ability to communicate effectively, work independently and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must have DoD Secret-Level Clearance.
