Position Overview: Safehaven Regional LLC is currently seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCA's) to join our in-home care team. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of assistance, while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities: - Travel to clients homes, arriving on time. [- Greet clients in a warm, professional manner. [- Understanding the limitations and needs of each individual client. [- Following clients written care plan. [- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Assisting with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment. - Providing emotional support and companionship to clients. - Maintaining a clean and organized environment for clients. - Experience working with individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities. [- Medication reminding [- Escort clients to medical facilities, errands, shopping and outings as specified in the care plan. [- Observe clients and reports behavior, physical and/or cognitive changes and/or changes in living arrangement to supervisor. [- Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of services. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. [- Two forms of Identification (Social and Government issued ID) - Valid certification as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) (Classes offered) - Current CPR certification. [- Most recent PPD/TB test - Prior experience working in a healthcare setting. - Current driver's license [- Proper vehicle Insurance coverage - Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move client, as required. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
