United States Fleet Forces Command Financial Management Analyst in Norfolk, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the FLT COMPTROLLER, FINANCIAL MGMT, FINANCIAL SYSTEMS of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND. Responsibilities You will provide USFFC customer support response to requests from BSO 60 Tier 1 help desk to identify, quantify, and resolve those Tier 1 issues/requirements involving CFMS and ERP system faults, integration, and potential code change requirements. You will provide timely feedback and assistance to users regarding both interim and long-term solution sets. You will provide support to users by correcting issues identified by iTracker, or other communications means. You will evaluate, communicate and prioritize Fleet requirements and user requests, system changes, enhancements, and bug fixes required due to policy changes, audit readiness and other requirements. You will research opportunities for process improvement using financial systems to include but not limited to reducing manual processes/transactions to increase accountability and auditability and reduce inefficiencies. You will ensue internal controls are defined and maintained in financial systems. You will develop management reports utilizing systems and reporting tools to meet user requirements. You will review and approve Standard Operating Procedures and/or User Guides that support USFFC processes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with SABRS (Standard Accounting and Budget Reporting System), CFMS-C (Command Financial Management System-Consolidated), and ERP systems, including their functionalities, interfaces, and integration points. Experience analyzing financial data, interpret system outputs, and ensure data accuracy across financial systems. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving system issues, with experience in managing system updates and integrations. Experience interpreting financial regulations, accounting principles, and federal financial management standards. Experience communicating technical issues and financial information clearly to stakeholders and preparing detailed reports and documentation. Experience identifying problems within financial systems and implementing solutions to optimize system performance and accuracy. Experience in overseeing financial system projects, managing timelines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
