As a key member of the Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS) Global Procurement team, your focus will be on analyzing and reporting data, crafting performance insights, and presenting these to senior management and decision-makers across the DPS organization.

You'll report to the Director of Controlling Global Procurement. We are flexible about your location, with options in Denmark, Slovakia, or Germany.

Job Responsibilities

Joining us as a Procurement Controller means taking on a role that combines autonomy, collaboration, and innovation. You’ll independently plan your daily tasks, overseeing key responsibilities such as savings reporting, forecasting, and budget management.

You’ll also:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various levels and regions to align on procurement strategies and reporting needs.

  • Develop and enhance reporting tools using Power BI to enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Leverage analytics to provide actionable insights and support procurement activities.

  • Drive the strategic development of procurement reporting and tool systems.

  • Use data insights to create value for Danfoss and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Background & Skills

To excel in this role, you should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, or a related field and have a solid background in data analytics and performance management. Your ability to analyze and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) will be critical to your success.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Expertise in Power BI, Power Query, and data models connected to sources like CSV, Excel, SharePoint, SAP, Azure SQL, and data lakes.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (including advanced Excel skills).

  • Familiarity with SAP and Business Information Warehouse (preferred).

  • Experience handling large datasets (250K–1M rows) and DAX programming in Power BI.

  • Excellent communication skills in English for engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
