We're seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our diverse and experienced team in Nordborg. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our joysticks meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Become the Joystick SME: You'll be the go-to expert for all things related to joystick mechanics, collaborating with teams across the business to solve problems and drive product improvements.

  • Drive Product Excellence: Take ownership of product maintenance and improvement initiatives, implementing design modifications based on customer feedback, production needs, and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Be a Problem Solver: Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

  • Champion Customer Needs: Evaluate and provide solutions for unique customer requests, acting as a technical liaison to ensure their needs are met.

  • Think Globally: Collaborate with other Danfoss manufacturing facilities worldwide to support product localization efforts.

  • Guarantee Quality: Validate design changes before implementation, guaranteeing seamless integration into production processes.

Background & Skills

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

  • Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably NX.

  • Familiarity with PLM tools, ideally Siemens Teamcenter.

  • A solid understanding of the interface between mechanics and electronics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and ideally VBA scripting.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with structural calculations and simulations.

  • Experience with environmental testing and data analysis.

  • Familiarity with SAP.

  • Team coordination experience. Given this we can discuss options for this role to include team coordination responsibilities also.
