    What part will you play?

    TheLearning and Development Program Managerworks closely with the Director, Learning and Development and understands, contributes and supports the end to end L&D strategy. The person is responsible for coordinating and executing the Diversified Academy and the Learning Journey Curriculum. The Diversified Academy is accountable for PMO, Operations, Engineering, Sales training/Managed Services and Corporate. This includes partnering with SMEs in project management , operations and installation, and engineering to ensure associates are educated on various technical subjects. They play a critical role in ensuring that associates acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their technical role, creating and delivering training programs, assessing the learning needs of associates, and continually updating their own knowledge to stay current in their field. The position ensures that the processes for the development, review, approval, and delivery of training meet corporate and site quality standards. Additionally, the Training Program Manager will work with subject matter experts and HR business partners to assess critical business needs, recommend learning solutions and strategies that address capability and competency gaps, develop learning content, maintain training and SOP compliance, and measure training program effectiveness.

    What will you be doing?

  • Leads Diversified Academy: Works with functional subject matter experts to assess and develop training content, coordinate, and facilitate training classes and deliver training programs in the areas of Project Operations, Project Management, Engineering and Sales

  • Needs Assessment: Evaluate the skills and knowledge gaps of the target audience and tailor training programs to address those gaps effectively. Create and support learning tracks for Diversified’s vertical business units and continuous growth

  • Curriculum Development: In partnership with subject matter experts, design and develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, online modules, and hands-on exercises that align with the learning objectives

  • Delivery of Training: Conduct training sessions through various formats, such as in-person classes, webinars, or e-learning platforms. Ensure that the content is engaging and informative.

  • Technology Integration: Familiarize trainees with the latest technologies, tools, and software relevant to the subject matter. Coordinate training through Diversified’s partner program

  • Project Manager Onboarding and Training Program: Manage and maintain the project manager onboarding and training program. Regularly evaluate and update the program as required. Coordinate schedules and program participation for new hires

  • Communication: Communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, adapting the delivery style to the needs of the audience

  • Troubleshooting: Assist trainees in resolving technical issues or challenges they encounter during training

  • Training Documentation & Program Metrics: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and evaluation results. Maintain and report training participation and effectiveness metrics

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Assess the progress of trainees through quizzes, exams, and practical exercises, and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Manage and measure training program effectiveness through established KPI’s – objectives & learning goals met, adherence to timelines, and budget

  • Collaboration: Work with other trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to improve training programs and ensure they meet organizational goals. Create & facilitate “Train the Trainer” sessions

  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends and developments to update training materials and stay relevant in the field. Design, implement and revise training content to support current and future business needs

  • Training Budget and Resource Management: Assist in the management of the training budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources. Source and evaluate training vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage training-related expenses

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external training service providers. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements

  • Demonstrate Diversified’s brand and values

    What do we require from you?

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience within a technical field (project management, engineering, project operations)

  • A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in a technical role within AV or technical installation and integration industry. In-depth knowledge of the subject matter being taught. Prior experience in teaching or training

  • Advanced computer skills and practical knowledge of MS Office Suite

  • Familiarity with training methodology, adult learning theory, instructional design and Train-the-Trainer programs

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences

  • Familiarity with Cornerstone and e-learning platforms, specifically Linked In Learning

  • The ability to adapt to different learning styles and technologies, as well as to stay updated with emerging technologies and trends

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions to trainees

  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with a diverse group of trainees and collaborate with colleagues.

  • A patient and empathetic attitude to help trainees who may struggle with complex technical concepts

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Proactive and continuous improvement oriented

  • Experience managing relationships with training service providers and negotiating contracts Ability to assess vendor capabilities, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

  • Ability to lead with influence

  • Able to manage shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic, growing environment, while providing clear direction to associates

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Travel up to 20% may be required

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
