SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are currently looking for an experienced Press Operator to join our team who can excel in our fast-paced, high performing team oriented environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Ensure personal compliance with all company Quality System, Operational, and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including Safety and completes required documentation accurately and timely.

  • Maintains communication within production team members ensuring smooth shift transitions, etc.

  • Identifies and ensures that proper materials are used for production.

  • Cleans the machines daily; organizes machine and material parts during closing operations.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.

  • Ensure the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.

  • Ability to perform changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Prepare equipment for the next run to include size changes as needed.

  • Complete required paperwork and checklists as required

  • Be able to work safely around operating machinery

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be flexible in work schedule. Willing to work overtime, based on business need.
