Microsoft Corporation Principal Engineering Manager in Noida, India
The Microsoft 365 India team is looking for a high caliber and highly motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead the planning, design, implementation and shipping of a few critical components for a strategic project for M365 business.
The Microsoft 365 India team is building a set of next generation of AI powered experiences for Microsoft 365 on all platforms (web, desktop, Android and iOS). Besides, the team is engaged in creating a new product line for the emerging markets for humans who use only mobile devices or do most of their work while being mobile. Here your work has the potential to reach billions of users worldwide and to impact Microsoft business and its stakeholders. Already Microsoft 365 have more than 100+ Million MAU.
Responsibilities
The Engineering Manager will be expected to lead the team towards a solid vision of the agile and cross-platform engineering, be responsible for a solid architecture and amazing performance and quality, manage a great team, and remove any and all obstacles that are preventing the team from delivering as fast as they can. He must be self-driven, proactive, results-oriented and have the ability to work with minimal ongoing direction from higher up. The candidate can expect to build a wide range of skills and experiences in this role. The candidate should have experience in all phases of the development cycle, preferably on large-scale commercial products including collaborating across the groups and cross discipline with Design, PM and our partner teams.
Qualifications
BS degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent degree
Min 15 years of experience in software industry
Minimum 10 years in product development. Service delivery experience is not relevant
Skills in developing Web applications and services
Experience in Web technologies (Javascript, React, Anugular, WebApp performance) a must
Minimum 5 years experience of managing team of more than 10 engineers
Skilled in project management, people management and partner management
