Overview: The Business & Events Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing high-impact events while managing related projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals. This role combines comprehensive project management and event planning. Candidates must be fluent in English and must work US based hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:

• Lead and manage projects related to strategic initiatives and/or events, including pre-event preparations and post-event evaluations.

• Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define project objectives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

• Develop detailed event and project plans, including budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure project objectives are met.

• Provide administrative leadership and management on key organizational and strategic business projects.

• Manage primarily internal projects of small/medium sizes with varying complexity and impact.

• Lead project teams by performing project administration, project tracking, reporting, and other team-related activities.

• Maintain project status, provide weekly status reports, and other administrative tasks as needed.

• Facilitate meetings and successfully manage virtual project teams.

• Provide clear and accurate communication, promoting project visibility to stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain project plans.

• Define and validate any applicable requirements/specifications, milestones, deliverables, and success measures within project scope.

• Identify and manage risks, mitigation strategies, plan activities, dependencies, impacts, escalation channels, financial budget, and detailed project documentation.

• Manage SOW (statement of work) through the project lifecycle to ensure all contracted deliverables have been achieved.

• Resolve project issues to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  1. Event Management:

• Oversee aspects of event planning and execution related to senior leadership vision and expectations, including creative, narrative, and overall experience.

• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.

• Manage logistics related to senior leadership involvement as needed.

• Compile comprehensive reports on event and project outcomes, including attendance, financials, and stakeholder feedback.

  1. Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project and events stakeholders.

  1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to project and/or events planning, execution, and evaluation.

• Prepare and present reports on progress, outcomes, and lessons learned to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Proven experience in event planning and project management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software.

• Candidates must be fluent in English and must work US based hours.
