Summary You will serve as a Supervisor in the Finance Department of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC. Responsibilities You will serve as the Tier 4 Supervisor supporting the Naval Information Center Atlantic (NIWC LANT). You will utilize Financial Management processes and techniques, as well as assist and lead others in the field. You will demonstrate leadership skills in interpreting Financial Management policies and regulations and in the application of organizational strategic goals. You will perform independent analysis and problem solving with minimal supervision. You will ensure employees have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, training, work processes, and tools to deliver the required products and professional services needed by the competency customers. You will work with customers to develop Task Agreement Assignments (TAAs), aligning each Competency employee to direct work assignments. You will provide leadership in the areas of policy, best practices, process standardization, common tools, community management, Competency development, and situational awareness of Competency requirements. You will be responsible for direct supervision of all employees assigned to the Tier 4 competency team. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leadership intervention, guiding, coaching, rewarding employees, management and interpretation of the laws, regulations, and various directives pertaining to appropriations, funds usage, and overall program planning and development, and the ability to apply financial policy to all levels of work.
