The Eurofins Agroscience Group is one of the leading service providers in Europe, we conduct field and laboratory studies to determine the safety and efficacy of new substances and organisms for humans and the environment. We are experts in conducting global field studies according to GEP and GLP, worker exposure studies, ecotoxicology, product chemistry, physico-chemical property testing and environmental fate studies.
In addition, we support our customers at every stage of the approval process. Our in-house team of regulatory experts works with our network of field stations, laboratories, and carefully selected partners.
We are looking for several temporary employees for 3-6 months (40 hours/ week) from March 15, 2025. The task is also suitable for an internship. You can carry out high-quality scientific work in nature and gain valuable experience in the process.
You will support our field teams in carrying out and supervising trials for the approval of plant protection products in the field, working with various naturally occurring organisms such as plants and animals
You will collect plants or plant parts, honey and other organisms (e.g., bees, bumblebees or worms), count them and document your results according to standardized methods (GLP), which you will learn with us
Together with our beekeepers, you will observe bee colonies, bumblebees and wild bees and take notes
For the field trials, you will help prepare the areas (mowing, staking out, etc.)
In this varied job, you will work in changing, smaller teams and will mainly be outdoors
A class B driving license is mandatory
You are interested in and enjoy working outdoors and with living organisms (bees, bumblebees, earthworms), like to work independently and enjoy a varied job
We are open to career changers; training (e.g., LTA, GALA, farmer) or an ongoing degree in the natural sciences (biology, agricultural sciences) is an advantage, but not required
Flexibility, communication, reliability, team spirit, manual dexterity and willingness to learn are among your strengths.
Good English skills and basic knowledge of the common MS Office applications round off your profile
Willingness to work on weekends
