Curtiss-Wright Corporation Business Development and Capture Operations Administrator in Newtown, Pennsylvania

We are looking for a Business Development and Capture Operations Administrator to join our team!

The Business Development (BD) & Capture Operational Administrator will provide critical administrative and operational support to the BD and Capture teams, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate documentation, and seamless coordination of key activities. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of strategic initiatives, maintaining capture systems, and facilitating communication across teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operational Coordination (70%)

  • Creates a wide variety of documents (often complex) such as reports, spreadsheets, presentations that require expert knowledge of several software programs; often composes first drafts of documents.

  • Track and manage bid logs, proposal schedules and submission deadlines

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Capture Management System (CMS).

  • Coordinate cross-functional team activities, including proposal reviews and capture planning sessions.

  • Assist in gathering and organizing proposal inputs from various teams.

  • Format and proofread proposal documents to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Help maintain a library of templates, past proposals, and relevant materials

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Capture Management System (CMS).

Administrative Support (30%)

  • Supports travel of team members. Processes travel expense report forms and check requests.(10%)

  • Monitors/updates/ensures complex organizational schedules involving multiple team members. (20%)

  • Participates in organization meetings to capture and later distribute meeting results and notes

Representative Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.

  • Knowledge of business development and capture frameworks such as Shipley or APMP.

  • Experience supporting senior business leaders and cross-functional teams

  • Skills to coordinate and plan meetings.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of administrative or operational experience, preferably in business development, capture, or proposal environments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Experience with project management tools and databases; familiarity with CRM or CMS tools is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of proposal and capture management processes is advantageous.
