Job Information
GKN Automotive Service Technician Advanced in Newton, North Carolina
Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Monitor all outbound service shipments, drop shipments and open order reports daily.
Prepare all outbound service orders using current GKN/Customer shipping standards.
Create/Generate Label Matrix shipping labels as required.
Monitor and maintain packaging stock levels, order material as needed.
Monitor and perform all required SAP transactions for service shipments.
Perform a service shipment audit on all outbound service orders.
Assist with maintaining and creating new work instructions as required.
Assist shipping technicians as needed.
Schedule LTL freight, UPS and FedEx shipments daily.
Working knowledge of all shipping standards (GMCCA, GMK Service, Ford, Chrysler MOPAR).
Assist with inventory control of service parts and finished goods
Any other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desirable
- Two years experience in shipping and warehouse operations

- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasksDetail consciousGood computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, UPS, Fed Ex Websites and GKN Work Instructions.
