WorkSource Oregon Assistant Community Manager in Newport, Oregon
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing operations at employers\' property, a tax credit property in Newport, OR. Responsibilities include ensuring property compliance, processing applications, managing resident relations, and enforcing policies. This position contributes to maintaining high occupancy and harmonious community relationships. REQUIREMENTS: -High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience or training. -Valid driver\'s license and insurance. -Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. -Knowledge of federal and state regulations, rental agreements, and property management practices. -Must pass background and drug test. PREFERENCES: -Proficiency in income verification and tenant screening. -Experience in property management or related fields. DUTIES: -Assist with daily operations, including rent collection, notices, and resident transfers. -Process applications, verify incomes, and ensure compliance with eligibility requirements. -Maintain accurate records of tenant files and waiting lists. -Support budget preparation and recommend operational improvements. -Conduct apartment showings and assist with move-ins and evictions as needed. -Foster positive relationships with tenants, staff, and the local community. -Ensure compliance with Cascade Management\'s policies and federal regulations. HOURS: -Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). PAY: -\$16.00\'\$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
