Job Description
We are seeking two skilled Low Voltage Technicians to join our team and perform low voltage electrical installations. The primary focus will be on access control installations and security camera installations. This position is based Newport News, VA.
Responsibilities
Perform low voltage electrical installations, including access control systems and security camera installations.
Troubleshoot and maintain access control systems at Riverside Hospital.
Install card readers, connect locks, and hardware for access control systems.
Provide exceptional customer service and interact professionally with clients.
Work independently to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
Essential Skills
Must be DCJS certified or willing to become certified.
At least 2 years of experience in low voltage electrical installations.
Experience with access controls, troubleshooting, and hardware connections.
Proficiency in pulling wire, installing, and terminating CAT 5/6 cables.
Experience with installation and maintenance of security camera systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Commercial and marine experience is required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Reliable transportation and a valid driving record.
Work Environment
You will work at job sites, primarily starting at 8 AM and finishing at 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The work environment requires presenting well and working independently. There is minimal overtime expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00
