The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking for a Maintenance Repairman 2 with exceptional work ethic to join our Middle Creek Wildlife Management Facility. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Maintenance Repairman 2 will be performing various skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of the Middle Creek Wildlife Management  Facility and vehicle fleet to ensure safe and efficient daily operations. This includes performing routine maintenance duties such as welding, basic automotive repairs, landscaping, trash collection, and snow removal. You will have the opportunity to assist with wildlife events on an as needed basis, such as Annual Bear check stations and Annual CWD Head Bin movement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Special Requirements: You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's license, which is not under suspension. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
