Robert Half Finance & Accounting is seeking a Controller for a local organization. The ideal Controller will be for a small company and be very hands on owning the fill month end process. The candidate must have manufacturing experience working with cost accounting as well. The role will work with everything from the transactional accounting to the cost accounting, month end, year, end, financial statements, analysis and recommendations. Requirements
Standard costs experience
Month end closings experience desired
Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
Progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Sr. Accountant, Accounting Manager or a Controller preferred
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Great attention to detail
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
