The ideal candidate will live in southern New Hampshire, Massachusetts or Connecticut. This position will involve 50%+ travel, some overnight, includes a fleet car and has a fantastic bonus opportunity based on performance.

How you will make an impact:

Our Controlled Environment Sales Specialists are accountable for developing and executing plans with Customer and Sales teams to capitalize on Controlled Environment opportunities within a predetermined geography. The CE Sales Specialists work in tandem with the division's Account Managers, Industry Directors, Supplier Reps and any other Fisher entity in order to drive sales of production and CE products. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Sales teams and a company that is a world leader in their industry!

Key responsibilities will be:

Develop & Deliver Controlled Environment Expertise:

  • Meet individual revenue and margin goals

  • Maintain Controlled Environments product and capabilities expertise, continually challenging personal development

  • Conduct training for Safety Specialists & Sales Generalists on how to identify and close Controlled Environment opportunities

  • Work with Program Managers & Industry Directors on identifying CE opportunities with existing and new business accounts. Participate in AMT discussions for Pharma, Biotech, Med Device and Electronic accounts.

  • Help secure SPQs from CE Vendors and assist with price guidance for CE Products

  • Gather and communicate customer and competitor industry intelligence on Controlled Environment product offering & application bundles

  • Work with sales and marketing teams to deliver Fisher’s value proposition for customer groups and applications

Time and territory management:

  • Make customer visits with direction from sales or customer management team

  • Develop time and territory plan

  • Maintain contact history and information in Salesforce.com

  • Ensure resource capability and professional development

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in appropriate specialty

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in controlled environment or safety products OR lab experience

  • Strong industry, pharmaceutical and science background preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills, including; conveying technical information to small groups

  • Proficient digital literacy in MS Office and the internet

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple and diverse projects and be detailed oriented to ensure accuracy

  • Ability to effectively interact with other subject areas within the Company such as marketing, sales, supply chain and customer service

  • Be detail-oriented and be accustomed to working on multiple tasks

  • Able and willing to travel to customer locations

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $83,300.00–$124,925.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
