Other duties may be assigned.1. Administrative and fiscal oversight of all Social Safety Net programs, ensuring consistency in service delivery across Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster counties,2. Maintains comprehensive digital files of all external and internal program contract documents, forms, policies & procedures, etc.3. Reviews and analyzes statistical, program, and fiscal data,4. Responsible for optimized agency utilization of the client database (Apricot) and increased data sharing between social services and behavioral health programs, as needed. Actively participates in system-wide data sharing through integrated digital referral systems (Unite Us) or other means.5. Provides relevant reports for each program to the Chief Operating Officer on a monthly, quarterly, annual and as needed basis,6. Supervises and evaluates the operation of assigned programs, including direct supervision of supervisors,7. Collaborates with Department of Social Services’ senior staff in each county to maximize the development of programs to assist consumers participating in DSS System. Also provides for and ensures ongoing CCOSU representation at county or balance of state continuums of care, county EFSP boards, DSS advisory boards, and other collaborative bodies.8. Responsible for program growth via program design/development and grant/proposal writing,9. Seeks funding opportunities to increase and maximize agency budgets and services to consumers participating in agency wide programs,10. Assist the COO with planning, development and assigned operational functions of the agency,11. Serves as CCOSU liaison to CCCS’ Immigration & Refugee Resettlement Division,12. Participate in agency, county and state committees as assigned or approved by the COO/CEO,13. Any other duties assigned by COO/CEOPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. Additional hours during evening and weekends are required to attend events and meet Agency and program needs.Working conditions and physical demands required: The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Travel at least 50% of the time using public transportation or vehicle, traverse city streets; occasionally ascend/descend stairs, and be exposed to outside weather conditions.Remain in a stationary position at a work station and use a computer at least 40% of the time.Traverse neighborhoods that may require a high level of alertness and awareness of surroundings.Ability to work with the public and work with clients who require consistent and comprehensive support, some under potentially stressful conditions.Carry a laptop to offsite work locations.Possess valid driver’s license and have access to reliable vehicle.Qualifications Education and/or experience required:Master’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work or related Human Services field.Ten (10) years of experience in related field.Five (5) years of supervisory experience in related field.Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required:Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, listening and communication skills.Spanish language capacity (strongly preferred)Demonstrated leadership ability; flexible in dealing with multiple constituencies.Familiarity with institutions and organizations in Orange, Sullivan & Ulster Counties. • Excellent organizational, time-management and administrative skills.Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team and motivating others to do the same.Demonstrated ability to develop/implement program planning/evaluation activities. • Knowledge of social service delivery systems and county resources.Demonstrated ability to raise funds to fully support program operations.Ability to supervise staff at remote locationsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Newburgh, NY 12550: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Master's (Required)Experience:SOCIAL WORK: 10 years (Required)supervisory: 5 years (Required)Language:Spanish as well as English (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Willingness to travel:75% (Required)
