A Day in the Life of a Communications and Marketing Manager:

As a Communications and Marketing Manager at The Arc Wayne in Newark, NY you will be an integral part in developing and maintaining community relations by actively promoting and marketing the agency, programs and businesses in a positive manner.

  • Create and distribute all print, digital and physical materials including but not limited to social media posts, press releases, newsletters, web pages, brochures, etc.

  • Collaborates with programs to develop and implement digital communications and other marketing materials for all Agency programs and businesses.

  • Manages, maintains and monitors al agency websites.

  • Manages and maintains agency photography

  • Attends and supports Agency events

  • Participates in the Annual Marketing plan development and implementation.

  • Performs other tasks and job duties as assigned.

    Who We Are Looking For:

    You have outstanding oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. You are extremely well organized, detailed oriented and you are able to meet frequent and changing deadlines.

    You have a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field with at least 3 years' experience OR an Associate's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field with at least 5 years' experience.

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm with some hours outside normal schedule
