The Individual Life Insurance Product Strategy Team is seeking a Product Manager, Product Development to join our team. This role, reporting to the Director of Product Development, is focused on the strategic and tactical execution of designing new Life Insurance Solutions within our Product Development Process. It requires thought leadership and critical thinking abilities to lead the implementation effort of a new product initiative. This is a hands-on role where you will need to independently lead the execution of developing a product concept from the idea stage through implementation across Prudentials cross functional teams and ecosystems.
What you can expect:
Drive forward feasibility efforts for new Product Opportunities. That includes gathering market research of the competitive marketplace.
Study competitive trends to provide perspective of our Portfolio versus the Industry and perform internal data analytics on Prudentials product portfolio to identify trends.
Maintain feasibility backlog and assist in the development of initial business cases.
Participate and assist in the market positioning of products by working with leadership so that strategic direction is set and clear during pricing and implementation activities.
Liaison throughout the Product Development Process to ensure that goals are achieved. Evaluate project and system tradeoffs and work with leadership so that informed decisions can be made.
Develop and maintain Product Specifications around its features and become the foremost expert on a products definition and how it should function.
Help ensure all product details are accurate and ready for a Products launch.
What youll need:
Bachelors degree preferred
Series 6 or successful completion within first 6 months.
3 to 5 Years of life insurance experience with a solid understanding of financial services strongly preferred.
Prior experience in product strategy, development and/or management - preferred.
Detailed oriented mindset with an ability to achieve high quality results.
Thought leader with demonstrated ability to make recommendations on tradeoffs.
Critical analytical thinker with ability to navigate through complexity to achieve objectives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (convey ideas, concepts, and proposals with clarity)
Ability to develop strong business relationships (partner) with various business teams and systems partners during feasibility and implementation phases.
Ability to navigate technical constraints and propose alternative solutions.
Continuous improvement mindset that helps breakthrough past precedence and seeks opportunities to make processes more efficient.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment to meet project deadlines.

The salary range for this role is from $125,000.00 to $186,100.00.
