What you will do
Join a $50B REIT Powerhouse. At PGIM Real Estate, we are shaping the future of real estate investing. As a Director of Tax, youll be at the forefront of our industry-leading REIT business. providing tax reporting oversight to assets worth over $50 billion across Core, Core Plus and Value Add funds. The Real Estate Tax Team is looking for a motivated and intellectually curious manager. Our multi-tiered funds cover a range of real estate asset classes and promises to keep you learning and growing in the REIT industry. This role reporting to our Executive Director, Tax, will manage the day-to-day obligations of funds oversight including review of outsourced federal and state compliance, investor tax reporting and withholding, all aspects of REIT compliance including but not limited to quarterly testing, PMQs, due diligence and on-going monitoring to ensure a regulatory-compliant REIT environment.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires on-site presence on a recurring basis 3 days per week.
What you can expect
Drive tax compliance strategies for our multi-tiered funds.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on fund launches and restructures and client on-boarding.
Partner with Portfolio and Asset Managers to proactively address REIT compliance issues.
Work with Tax Providers on quarterly Gain Modeling/Calculations to ensure accurate investor withholding and reporting.

What you will bring
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or other related field (required).
6 years of relevant experience including Big 4 and/or real estate private equity or REITs (required)
Solid understanding of REIT tax compliance and qualifications (required)
Experience with partnership tax issues and reporting
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary based on many factors including, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
