What you will do:
As Corporate Communications Manager you will support the advancementand implementation of essential communications intended to enhance and protect PGIMs reputation, highlight PGIMs position as a leading global asset manager and a career destination for industry talent.
You will work with a network of stakeholders across a broad range of functions in support of PGIMs corporate brand including CHRO, Head of DEI, Head of ESG, Head of PGIMs Institutional Relationship Group, as well as PGIMs research, thought leadership, and marketing teams.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Support the expansion and implementation of the global communications strategies for PGIM and its businesses that promote the firms strategic growth initiatives, thought leadership and investment strategies, including strategic external communications planning and earned media campaign management.
Cultivate stakeholder relationships across functional areas, identifying key areas of opportunity where communications can support business objectives.
Partner with Asia Pacific and EMEA communications colleagues to help with communications strategies in priority markets.
Coordinate with PR agency resources.
Identify and leverage macro trends and make recommendations to position appropriate business narratives, and build communications plans to amplify these narratives.
Discern and capitalize on creative news angles.
Establish and cultivate relationships with media targets.
Plan and implement issue responses and crisis communication strategies as needed.
Serve as a spokesperson for PGIM.
Support media engagement through prep sessions, staffing, post-engagement feedback.
Track and report out metrics, demonstrating the value communications provides in support of business objectives.
What you will bring:
5-7 years of communications experience; corporate and agency backgrounds beneficial; financial services experience a must; asset management and private markets experience a plus.
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Innovative and pro-active.
Ability to partner and deliver strategic business value while also able to work independently.
Understands the organization's internal and external business environments, including how it delivers value to customers, the market it operates in, and how its separate functions work together.
Executive presence; comfortable providing strategic counsel to senior executives.
Possess excellent project management skills with the ability to drive processes, integrate concepts and lead through influence.
Existing relationships with key journalists and capable of establishing innovative relationships.
Outstanding writing and editing skills.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $120,500 to $150,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
