Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Location: NJ 07470Job Type: Per DiemPosition Overview:Priority Group Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The LPN will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients, assisting healthcare providers, and maintaining a professional standard of nursing practice.Responsibilities:1. Patient Care:a) Assisting in the delivery of patient care under the direction of registered nurses or physicians.b) Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.c) Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team.2. Documentation and Reporting:a) Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.b) Assisting in preparing and updating patient care plans.3. Collaboration and Support:a) Collaborating with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.b) Providing support to patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns.4. Procedures and Protocols:a) Adhering to established protocols, procedures, and regulatory standards.b) Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.5. Education and Assistance:a) Educating patients and their families about treatments, medications, and aftercare instructions.b) Assisting in patient rehabilitation activities and daily living tasks if required.Requirements:1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.2. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.4. Possession of a valid New Jersey Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is mandatory.5. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including those set by the New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, Corporate Compliance, PEOSHA, and Priority Group Services Policies and Procedures.Preferred Qualifications:1.
