Industrial Staffing Services Inc dba Equiliem Labor and Delivery in Newark, New Jersey

We are seeking a dedicated professional for a 13-week contract to provide exceptional care in our high-risk AP/PP unit. The candidate will be responsible for caring for pregnant women who require hospitalization and postpartum women. Assignments may include monitoring high-risk AP patients in ICU/ED/tele units requiring continuous or intermittent fetal monitoring.

Additional float units may be assigned based on skill set and hospital needs. When floated to care for patients requiring a higher level of care, the traveler will not be the primary RN but will perform OB assessments and fetal monitoring.

Schedule Requirements
  • Must have open schedule for 2 out of 3 holidays
  • Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM Intermediate (advanced accepted, beginner not accepted), AWHONN or NCC, NRP
  • Ability to circulate C-sections
Patient and Unit Details
  • Patient ratio: 1-2/3 in L&D depending on acuity and phase of labor; 3-6 in Women's Health Unit depending on assignment/acuity
  • Approximately 225 births per month
  • 21 bed unit
  • Charting systems: EPIC and CPN
  • First-time travelers are accepted
