Posting Summary | Rutgers University- Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Director of ADAP and Assistant Director of Counseling Center. Under the general direction and leadership of the Director of Counseling Center, the Assistant Director of Counseling Center and Director of ADAP provides oversight for the Counseling Center clinical administration and manages the Alcohol and Other Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). The Assistant Director provides strategic planning, direction, and operations of all alcohol and drug related prevention, education, and in/direct service activities, and assesses and provides appropriate counseling or referral services for students. Additional duties include oversight and participation in the after-hour /on-call crisis response, and provision of general and clinical supervision services to all ADAP staff as well as Counseling Center staff and interns as necessary.This position is responsible for and not limited to the following.
