This position will play a key role on the Individual Life Insurance (ILI) Core Markets Pricing Team within Actuarial. This individual will be a leader on the ILI Pricing & Product Development Team and collaborating with many areas (e.g., Product Strategy, Marketing, Assumptions, Valuation, Modeling, Portfolio Management) in the development of new products and the updating of our pricing. This individual will lead a small team (1-2 associates) and be responsible for ensuring that we develop rates that meet ILIs business and profitability objectives, appropriately utilize the necessary models to support these functions and comply with applicable pricing and modeling standards.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:Primary responsibilities of this position may include:
Pricing and design of new life insurance products
Development and prototyping of new products or features.
Modeling in Axis and Excel.
Performance of regulatory testing and preparing materials for state filings.
Comply with pricing/risk governance
Modeling the profitability of new business.
Partner with and communicate effectively with business stakeholders
Ad-hoc requests
What youll need:
Actuarial credentials FSA preferred with at least 5 years of actuarial experience.
Strong leadership, actuarial, problem solving, collaboration and communications skills required.
Ability to effectively and timely identify and implement comprehensive solutions required.
Experience in pricing, valuation, and/or modeling preferred.
Knowledge of life insurance products and PBR knowledge is highly desirable.
Excellent technical skills, strong analytical mind and the ability to produce insights that bring business value
Knowledge of GGY Axis is a plus.
Ability to work within Agile environment

The salary range for this role is from $160,700.00 to $217,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
